THE APOCALYPSE OF SAMUEL OF KALAMOUN – THE FRENCH TRANSLATION (BY J. ZIADEH)
The Arabic version of the Apocalypse of Kalamoun, which was published in the 2oth volume of Revue de l’Orient chrétien, was translated into French, in 1917, by the Maronite Lebanese priest J. Ziadeh. It has been described by later scholars as defective; however, he is the first one who brought this important text to the attention of Europe.
